Lady Bug Party!!!

Lady Adrianne just turned 1 and she had a cute 'Lady Bug' themed birthday party. We created some lady bug invitations for all the guests. To read the invitations you opened the wings and the party information was in the center. Some of the invitations are in English and Some in spanish ;) It was such a fun party!

Happy 1st Birthday Adrianne!

For table decorations, there were handmade, foam lady buys in a variety of sizes and colors. Each child took a lady bug or two home to decorate their rooms.

individual handmade piñatas!!

Instead of one piñata, the mother of the birthday girl constructed small individual lady bug piñatas for each child to take home. They were equally filled with yummy goodies, and was a way to be fair to all the children ;) Each piñata was also handmade out of simple materials:
  • 2 lady bug themed paper plates (size)
  • Streamers
  • construction paper
  • variety of candy
To make each piñata was fairly simple:
  • take one "themed" paper plate
  • cut a 1"-2" strip of construction paper
  • fold construction paper into a round shape (to fit on the paper plate)
  • tape to the 'themed' plate
  • pour variety of candy in the center
  • staple or tape the plates together
  • cover center with streamer (for decoration)
  • and your done!!!
Handmade decorations are a cute and simple way to celebrate a birthday without spending too much ^_^ Happy Birthday to my beautiful niece Adrianne!

Happy Birthday Lady Adrianne!!

❤ Shann's Senior Year!!

We've had so much fun capturing some special moments of a local beautiful Senior - Miss. Shannon. It has been a privilege to be a part of some memorable senior year events such as: "Senior Night" - for Berea Braves Volleyball, getting ready for Homecoming and a lovely Senior Photo Shoot in the park. I am sure that by the time graduation is here, we will have a collage of memories for her to enjoy.

Here are some of those special moments and stay tuned for more to come!!

Introducing: We're Only Human

The Lott's of Designs studio recently had the privilege of designing a logo for an upcoming clothing Designer: Cameron Houston. We had lots of fun creating his vision which will go on hats, t-shirts and more. We look forward to seeing this logo on many products in our local Cleveland market and will be posting photos of the We're Only Human products when they arrive! STAY TUNED!!

♥♥ 2nd Year Anniversary!! ♥♥

♥ Today, September 26 marks Kyle & I (Amanda)'s  2nd year Anniversary! It's hard to believe that it's been 2 blissful years already ^_^ Our wedding day was definitely the best day of my life! It went fast, but I cherish the memories everyday. I want to share a peak of our wedding book that I created on Blurb.

It is a beautiful hard cover book displaying our special day from start to finish. I designed the front cover displaying one of my favorite photos of our union, focusing on our unity candles in the foreground and us in the background. The back cover was us walking to the rose garden in Lorain, OH for our pictures after the ceremony, i had the. We will be looking at our wedding video, looking out our wedding book, and for the first time together, enjoying our wedding scrapbook I've created. I thank God for blessing me with a wonderful husband! K&A forever!!! ❤

Here is a sneak peak... it looks better in person!

Ingenuity Festival!

The Ingenuity Festival in Cleveland, Ohio was awesome!! I had volunteered a few years ago, but this year I got to enjoy it with a few friends, and even on the last day, there were so many great booths to explore, so many creative artists, musicians, food trucks and more!!

Here are some of the moments I captured with my iPhone!

♥ Card Swap Day view!! ♥

The Lotts of Designs Studio has been busy with various projects, there was barely time to post them all. One of the latest projects was a card featured at the Immanuel Church Scrapbook Ministries 'Card Swap'. We chose to feature a card with the "Thinking of You" theme. I created the cards with matching envelopes.

To prepare for the card swap we had to prepare 26 packs of materials for other card makers (both beginners and experienced) to re-create your card.

The 26 packs of cards contained 1 white card folded with a Martha Stewart scorer and a white envelope and a piece of pink or green paper. At the card swap there was a table with all the supplies provided for each card maker to create my card. There were other stations set up for myself to re-create other cards, I had a blast!!

Supplies Needed:
  • Folded cardstock (any size you want the card)
  • Envelope (size the card stock will fit in folded)
  • Colored/Patterned Paper (any color you choose, in this case not too much pattern)
  • Flower stamp (Narcissus by Stampendous)
  • Color Pencils
  • Glitter
  • Adhesive tape
  • Stamp pad
  • Thinking of you stamp
  • Scissors
supplies I provided for each person creating my card

card packs in preparation for the swap

Step 1: Round the 4 bottom edges or the card
Step 2: Tape the paper (in this case pink or green) with the 2 bottom edges rounded
Step 3: Stamp the flowers on white card stock, cut and color the flowers to your liking
Step 4: Place foam stickers on the back of the flowers
Step 5: Place flowers in center of card (foam stickers give 3D look)
Step 6: Stamp the words 'Thinking of you' to the bottom right of the paper
Step 7: (use stamp pad or a foam tip with chalk paint) and rub against the edges of the white card
Step 8: Add glitter to the center lines of flowers
Step 9: Stamp a part of the flower stamp on the corner of the envelope

Birthday cards for Joshua Kids!!

Here are some cards we created for some special Joshua Kids @ the Church on the North Coast (CNC), Valley View- East Campus!

Joshua Kids is an inner city ministry that meets with kids once a month in both the Lorain and Valley View Campuses of CNC. We teach the kids about Jesus, his love and sacrifice and how to live a Godly life. We also spend time with them, showing them God's love by teaching them about His word, playing games, listening to music and having a good time with them. We want the kids to know how special they are and how much God loves them, so each month for one of the boy or girls birthdays we give them cupcakes, sing them 'Happy Birthday' and give them a card where all the volunteers write a special message. This is truly a great ministry to be a part of and we here at Lotts of Designs look forward to making many more cards for some special kids. ❤
