Beauty's Just A Word

I recently heard a song that has trully spoke to my heart. It's a great reminder of God's love and compassion over our lives. With all the bad news out lately and all the family tragedies around us, sometimes we loose focus on what good there is out there and how faithful God is to us.

In the midst of trials we must remember that if God borough us to it, He will bring us through it. His word reminds us:

Psalm 30:5

Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit

Psalm 37:39

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble

Psalm 55:22

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you;he will never let the righteous fall.

The lyrics to Rachel Lampa's song, 'Beauty's just a word' reminds me that though we go through pain and hardships in our lives, the Lord brings out the good, and the beautiful in tough situations. Listen to this song and see if it speaks to you as well. 

                               

iPhone InfoGraphic

InfoGraphics seem to be the design worlds latest craze, so much so that there's an App for that. Here is my iPhones's InfoGraphic. It shows the times most of my photos were taken, what days, properties, etc. It's a great tool to discovering the patterns in my phone photography.

Oh Valentine!!

The sweetest day of the year has passed, but what about the other 364 day? Lucky enough some of us have wonderful and very thoughtful husbands and guys in our lives who shower us with gifts year round at random times just to let us know they Love us, and my hubby is no exception !

He actually sent me flowers to work the day before Valentines day and dais "cause your better than V-day". I Eas pleasantly surprised!!

I actually even made a bag dedicated to my love and appreciation for him that I took to work to get filled with goodies.

Needless to say, we show our love and appreciation for eachother thought the year <3

Great CD & Movie cover designs!

There are some great wholesome Christian movies and albums out lately. Besides the wonderful message and lyrics they contain, they also have great covers which depict the story nicely.

2011 CD Cover

Dove Award winning Christian Artist, Rachel Lampa's latest CD 'All you need' (2011) is simple and beautiful. It depicts her great voice, inner beauty and a great music!


The movies - 'The Grace Card, 'Courageous', 'Facing the Giants', 'Faith like potatoes' and 'Fireproof' are all great movies with a wonderful message and the cover art depicts their greatness. After watching these movies, you'll have an appreciation for the cover as well. ^_^

The 2012 Wedding season is in full swing! Soon we'll hear the church bells ring and see beautiful brides walking down the isle. In preparation for The Big Day, we here at The Lotts of designs studio are creating beautiful wedding invitation samples for the blushing brides.

Family calendar

We recently designed a 2012 Calendar featuring a very special family! Once printed, we added a few items to give it a handmade touch. A personalized calendar is the perfect way to highlight those memorable moments in your families lives. Here at the Lotts of Designs Studio we had a great time creating this calendar and hope that the recipient family enjoys it as well throughout the year!!

We're already half way into the first month of the year and there are lots of fun events happening in 2012. Weddings, Silver Anniversaries, Milestone Birthdays and so much more.
