Mustard Revolution

My hubby and I recently had dinner with an awesome couple. They had such a wonderful story and shared their great testimony. They have a precious baby girl named Chaia and they blog about her story and their journey together. We were so blessed to meet with them and join them in prayer for their upcoming ministry in Columbus, OH 'City church' and for their little Princess Chaia and her heart condition.

We know God has huge plans for their lives and their ministry! We cannot wait to see what he has in store for them and we look forward to being a part of their ministry in some form. Heavy heart!

I couldn't sit still at work all day. My heart is so heavy, not only for the tragedy that happened at Chardon High School yesterday, but for all the darkness in our world today. My heart is so saddened for the terrible decision a student made to take the life of classmates at random. My heart is heavy knowing that there is so much violence not just in schools but around the world.

sad but true...

The signs of the time are so evident and we must prepare ourselves for the Lord's coming soon. We must continue to lift each other in prayer for God's protection, and to reach out to the outcasts and unpopular. There are so many people hurting, maybe if we took the time to offer a caring smile, or a kind word... we could help make a difference.

In the midst of all the bad, we must find good. I had the privilege of visiting the Cleveland Greenhouse this weekend. What a beautiful place! We should be proud of great places like these in our city. This place brought me joy, warmth and happiness. In the midst of all the beautiful plants and flowers I found this precious beauty. A sign of perfection. To me, a sign from God reminding me that he takes care of us. He is the ultimate artist and he designed this flawless flower for us to enjoy. Hope you can enjoy it as well.

Beauty's Just A Word

I recently heard a song that has trully spoke to my heart. It's a great reminder of God's love and compassion over our lives. With all the bad news out lately and all the family tragedies around us, sometimes we loose focus on what good there is out there and how faithful God is to us.

In the midst of trials we must remember that if God borough us to it, He will bring us through it. His word reminds us:

Psalm 30:5

Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit

Psalm 37:39

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble

Psalm 55:22

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you;he will never let the righteous fall.

The lyrics to Rachel Lampa's song, 'Beauty's just a word' reminds me that though we go through pain and hardships in our lives, the Lord brings out the good, and the beautiful in tough situations. Listen to this song and see if it speaks to you as well. 

                               

iPhone InfoGraphic

InfoGraphics seem to be the design worlds latest craze, so much so that there's an App for that. Here is my iPhones's InfoGraphic. It shows the times most of my photos were taken, what days, properties, etc. It's a great tool to discovering the patterns in my phone photography.

Oh Valentine!!

The sweetest day of the year has passed, but what about the other 364 day? Lucky enough some of us have wonderful and very thoughtful husbands and guys in our lives who shower us with gifts year round at random times just to let us know they Love us, and my hubby is no exception !

He actually sent me flowers to work the day before Valentines day and dais "cause your better than V-day". I Eas pleasantly surprised!!

I actually even made a bag dedicated to my love and appreciation for him that I took to work to get filled with goodies.

Needless to say, we show our love and appreciation for eachother thought the year <3

Great CD & Movie cover designs!

There are some great wholesome Christian movies and albums out lately. Besides the wonderful message and lyrics they contain, they also have great covers which depict the story nicely.

Dove Award winning Christian Artist, Rachel Lampa's latest CD 'All you need' (2011) is simple and beautiful. It depicts her great voice, inner beauty and a great music!


The movies - 'The Grace Card, 'Courageous', 'Facing the Giants', 'Faith like potatoes' and 'Fireproof' are all great movies with a wonderful message and the cover art depicts their greatness. After watching these movies, you'll have an appreciation for the cover as well. ^_^
